A little bit about myself…
My name is Andrew Watters. I am a twice graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, finishing my Bachelor’s Degree in History in May 2024 and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in December 2025.
Live music is one of my favorite things in the world, and I combined that with a passion for photography in April 2022. With that has come direct work, touring, and media team gigs all around the country.
I served as the Marketing Director and Photo Editor for KTXT FM - The Raider 88.1, Texas Tech’s student-run college radio station from 2022 until 2025, and gained three valuable years of experience running professional social media channels as well as building incredible relationships with artists, managers, venues, and companies alike.
I have been fortunate enough to work on massive stages as a credentialed media member, including coverage of the 2025 Edward Jones Big XII Football Championship, the 2025 Women’s College World Series, and the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, as well as major music festivals like Austin City Limits, Two Step Inn, and Troubadour Fest.
Additionally, I continue to work round-robin as a house photographer for Brewster Street Icehouse and Concrete Street Amphitheater in Corpus Christi, Texas.
